This year, our agency has started organizing excursions to Ölüdeniz from Marmaris and the surrounding areas. It is a wonderful opportunity to visit the mesmerizing Saklıkent Canyon and swim at one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, the Blue Lagoon. These two landmarks are considered the gems of the Aegean region and attract millions of visitors every year.
After a short bus journey, the groups arrive at Saklıkent Canyon, which is recognized as the longest canyon in Turkey. Stretching approximately 18 kilometers, the gorge is nestled between cliffs that reach over 200 meters high, captivating with their natural beauty. A turbulent mountain river flows along the bottom of the ravine, at times forming smaller streams, allowing guests to walk through and take breathtaking photos of the cliffs, winding passages, boulders, and uniquely shaped trees. It is important to prepare in advance for this walk and bring suitable footwear and clothing. After the hike, a lunch is planned at one of the restaurants by the water’s edge, under the shade of sprawling trees. Meals are included in the tour price, but drinks at the restaurant are an additional cost.
After lunch, the group will head to the village of Ölüdeniz, a picturesque reserve that is among the top five most beautiful beaches in Turkey. Surrounded by hills covered with pine trees and cedars, the Blue Lagoon is separated from the Aegean Sea by a sandy spit. Here, you will have 2 hours of free time to fully enjoy swimming in the crystal-clear azure waters.
As part of this tour, you have the option to add tandem paragliding with a professional instructor from Mount Babadağ, which is considered a mecca for paragliding on the Turkish coast. During the flight, you will admire breathtaking views of mountain ranges, the turquoise expanse of the sea, forests, bays, and coves. To include the paragliding experience, you need to select the “with paragliding” option in the booking form. Participants must be over 6 years old.
The cost of the excursion, including the paragliding experience, is €140 or £120. Participants must weigh no more than 105 kg and be at least 5 years old.
