Excursions to Cappadocia from Fethiye will show you a whole new world, and the panoramic view from the heights of the mountains will make your heart beat faster. One of the highlights of Cappadocia is the opportunity to take a hot air balloon flight, allowing you to see the region from a bird’s-eye perspective, enjoy unique views of the pointed tall rocks, and experience the sense of freedom that only birds soaring in the sky can feel.
This incredible place was once a Christian center, and you can see numerous churches that were built directly into the cliffs and valleys. The unusual rock formations were formed through volcanic eruptions and shaped by winds over many centuries. Residents built their homes within the rocks, and underground cities were created as a means to hide from enemies who attacked the region.
We offer a tour with transportation on a regular bus. English-speaking guides will meet you in Cappadocia, settle you into a hotel, and show you all the region’s attractions over the course of two days.
The intercity bus journey is quite long, taking approximately 12 hours. Upon arrival in the town of Goreme, our local guide will meet you at the bus station early in the morning and transfer you to your hotel. Soon after breakfast, a bus will arrive to take you on the Red Route tour of the monuments and highlights of Northern Cappadocia. After the excursion, you will return to your hotel, and during your free time, you can take a stroll through the village and have dinner at one of the local restaurants.
The second day is more packed as you will need to wake up early if you want to witness the breathtaking hot air balloon show or take a flight yourself. It is necessary to arrange these services in advance with the guide while still in Fethiye, as the number of spots for balloon flights is limited.
After breakfast at the hotel, the guide will pick you up as on the first day. This time, they will show you the southern part of Cappadocia, also known as the Green Route. At the end of the tour, the guide will bring you to the bus station and assist you in boarding the bus back to Fethiye. Upon arrival, our staff member will meet you and drive you to your hotel. The estimated return time is between 13:00 and 14:00.
